The Elevator Pitch

You’ve got a great business idea but need cash to make it go. Or, you don’t need the cash but you still need to be able to sell your idea to clients, customers, potential employees or even your spouse! Maybe you have the skills of an entrepreneur but you work for an established firm, so you need to be able to sell that great idea to your boss.  This is where the Elevator Pitch comes in. You’ve have two minutes from the lobby to the executive offices on the top floor to sell your idea, and yourself, to the people that matter. If you succeed, you will get to use your creativity, your initiative and your energy in an exciting new venture or project of your own design, and maybe get that promotion too… In this workshop participants will learn what goes into making a great elevator pitch and then you will form teams, select or be given a scenario to work on and then craft a pitch of your own. One designated person from each group will make the pitch. You have to be quick and think-on-your-feet; valuable skills for entrepreneurs  and intrapreneurs.
